Nausis (Bebra)
Nausis is a deserted settlement in the Ronshausen district in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in Hesse .
The place was first mentioned in 1003. It was about 3.5 km south of Ronshausen and 2.5 km south of the hamlet of Fassdorf at an altitude of 290 m above sea level on the upper reaches of the Breitenbach in the "Nausesgrund" on the valley slope, west of the Schwalbenkopfs (454.7 m) in the Seulingswald . Possibly the place consisted of several settlements lined up in the Breitenbachtal; Another desert settlement is located 400 m further southeast in the Bachtal.
It is possible that Nausis was abandoned when the settlement of Unterausis, first mentioned in 1327 and now also desolate, was founded. Your situation has not yet been clarified.
