Nauwieser 19 is a culture and work yard in the Nauwieser Viertel in Saarbrücken - St. Johann . The front building is a listed building as part of the ensemble .

The building at Nauwieserstraße 19 was built in 1906 as a residential and commercial building according to plans by Philipp Burgemeister. In the late 1980s the Nauwieser Neunzehn e. V. , who renovated the old building and opened the Kultur- und Werkhof in 1990.

The members of the association are business people, craftsmen and socio-cultural institutions, all of which are located in and around the Kultur- und Werkhof. The eleven members of the association meet once a week and make pending decisions together. All kinds of cultural events, such as concerts, film evenings, lectures, readings, exhibitions and seminars, take place in the Werkhof.
