Isabella Nagy

Isabella Nagy (* 1979 in Aiud , Romania ) is a German actress .

Life

Isabella Nagy spent her childhood in Cluj-Napoca until she was seven and then grew up in Bergisch Gladbach . After graduating from high school, she first studied pedagogy at the University of Cologne from 2000 to 2006 .

From 2006 to 2009 she completed her acting training at the Theater Academy in Cologne . In 2011 she appeared at the Societaetstheater Dresden . This was followed by theater engagements at various stages in North Rhine-Westphalia , u. a. at the Kammerspielchen Wuppertal, at the Arkadas Theater in Cologne and at the Theater am Sachsenring in Cologne. Between 2013 and 2017 she was on tour nationwide with the “Krimidinner”.

From autumn 2018 Nagy appeared at the Kleiner Theater Bad Godesberg as the “initially uptight” and “cranky” daughter-in-law Valérie, who developed “from a humorless joke to an attractive woman and future mother” in the comedy Breakfast with Monsieur Henri by the French author Ivan Calbérac . In the same comedy she appeared in May 2019 at the Schlosstheater Neuwied at the Landesbühne Rheinland-Pfalz and in June / July 2019 at the comedy on the Altstadtmarkt in Braunschweig . In 2019 she was a guest at the “Salon Freiraum” in Cologne in a literary reading with texts by Federico García Lorca and played one of the leading roles in the comedy Is it sex or can it go away at the Theater im Centrum Kassel .

In the 2019/20 season she is, u. a. at the side of Lilo Wanders , with the comedy A Cage Full of Fools by Jean Poiret , a production of the comedy on the Altstadtmarkt in Braunschweig, in the role of Mme Dieulafoi on tour in Germany.

Nagy has appeared in supporting roles in front of the camera for television. a. in the TV series Heldt and Sankt Maik . She lives in Cologne.
