Nazareno is a village in the department of Santa Victoria in the extreme northwest of the province of Salta in Argentina at an altitude of 3180 m. The village has about 780 inhabitants and lives from agriculture and animal husbandry. Nazareno is the headquarters of the Nazareno municipality of the same name .

The route to Nazareno leads from La Quiaca via the Ruta Provincial 67 , then via the Ruta Provincial 69 and from the Abra del Cóndor mountain pass via the Ruta Provincial 145-S . The route leads over the Abra Fundición mountain pass up to an altitude of 4720 m.

The festival of the town's patroness , the Virgen de Guadalupe , is celebrated on September 8th and December 8th.
