The Nazko River is a right tributary of the West Road (Blackwater) River in the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Nazko River rises to the east of the Fraser Plateau in central British Columbia. The river flows mainly in a northerly direction. Nazko Lake and Tanilkul Lake are river widenings . Both lakes are located in Nazko Lake Provincial Park . This is the breeding area of ​​the rhinoceros pelican ( Pelecanus erythrorhynchos ), an endangered species of bird. The Nazko settlement is 22 km above the estuary. The river has a length of about 130 km and drains an area of ​​about 3700 km². The mean discharge 33 km above the mouth is 4.9 m³ / s. Between April and June the river carries the largest amounts of water.
