Ncotshane is a place in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal . It is located in the municipality of uPhongolo in the district of Zululand .
2011 had the Townshipsiedlung 13,071 inhabitants in Ncotshane B and 3257 residents in Ncotshane A . Almost all of the residents are black and mostly speak isiZulu .
The area is structurally weak. Ncotshane lies between National Route 2 , which runs east-west here, and the northern border between South Africa and Swaziland . The Pongola flows south of the N2 ; the city of the same name is located near Ncotshane, Pongola Airport is located between the two places.
