Nebela lageniformis is a shell amoeba from the genus Nebela . In German it is also known as bottle-shell amoeba. The species is very common and occurs in wet peat moss and other mosses .
features
Nebela lageniformis is 120 to 130 micrometers in size. The bowl is colorless, translucent and bottle-shaped. It has large, rounded scales, between which in turn smaller scales are stored.
