Nb.t-t3wj mistress of the two countries |
Nebettaui was a daughter and wife of Ramses II. She appears in various lists of princesses of the ruler in fifth place, so was the fifth daughter of the Pharaoh . There is uncertainty about her mother. One of these lists is on the facade of the small temple at Abu Simbel . It was assumed that these were exclusively daughters of the Nefertari . Since Nebettaui is not mentioned here, it has been assumed that she was not the daughter of the first great royal wife , which means that Isisnofret is the most likely mother . At some point, probably in the second half of Ramses II's reign, she too became one of her father's great royal wives .
Only a few monuments of Nebettaui have survived . There is only one round sculpture , which is located at the great temple of Abu Simbel. Noteworthy is her spacious tomb ( QV60 ) in the Valley of the Queens , but its decoration was not completed.
