The Hohe Warte , also called Sonnhöh , is 572 meters high and is the third highest mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg .
geography
The wooded mountain is located in the municipality-free area of Rohrbrunner Forst, about 1.4 km southeast of the Rohrbrunn motorway service station ( A 3 ) and about 500 m northeast of the parking lot on Spessarthochstraße (state road 2316). From there, the summit can be reached with the “Eichenblatt” sign and marked with a “Sonnhöh” sign. The Luitpoldshöhe hunting lodge is located about 950 m north-west of the summit on Staatsstraße 2312 (formerly: Bundesstraße 8 ).
The Hohe Warte should not be confused with the Hohe Wart, which is almost of the same name .
