geography

The forested mountain is located in the unincorporated area Rohrbrunner forest about 1.8 km east of the motorway service station and junction Rohrbrunn on the A3 between Aschaffenburg and Würzburg and about 250 meters north of State Road 2312 (formerly State Road 8 ). In the northeast it goes flat to the summit of the Geiersberg ( 586  m above sea  level ) about 750 meters away . The Rohrberg nature reserve is located on the south -eastern slopes known as Rohrberg .

The closest hiking trail of the Spessartbund is the red point 94. This leaves the St 2312 north in the direction of Lärchhöhe, but then turns to the west. The summit can only be reached on an unmarked path.

The Lärchhöhe offers no view due to heavy forest cover.
