Necronos - Tower of Doom is a German Independent - splatter film by director and screenwriter Marc Rohnstock. The film was produced on almost 100 days of shooting (between August 2008 and March 2010) and a further 100 working days for the construction of special effects and backdrops.

action

Necronos - Tower of Doom tells the story of the mighty warlock Necronos, who, on behalf of the devil, is supposed to create an army of invincible undead under the leadership of cruel battle demons, so-called berserkers. To achieve this, Necronos needs various macabre “ingredients” from living victims. As a loyal servant, Necronos gets a blood demon named Goran by the devil and a witch (Manoush), who is supposed to use her skills to find the chosen virgin witch, who has an important ingredient to offer, her virgin blood.

backgrounds

"Necronos - Tower of Doom" is Infernal Films Limited's largest project to date. A good 100 actors were involved in mass scenes of zombies, the construction of different sets, torture tools, artificial basement floors, and much more make this film something special.

The locations were far apart. B. on two different castles and a castle ruin, at different points on the banks of the Rhine and a few other places within 100 km of the city of Bingen.

The construction of the scenery took more than 3 months. Among other things, an artificial dungeon was built, walls were made with plasterboard and set up in such a way that they could be used for different purposes. Wooden gates with a height of 3 meters were built and installed. Furthermore, various props, machines and much more were created by hand, special dungeon doors were prepared and a removable frame for different doors was anchored.

With almost 100 days of shooting, the film has more than twice as many days of shooting as Dungeon of Evil and Graveyard of the Living Dead combined. The budget of both films is not even a third of the budget of "Necronos - Tower of Doom" and the number of actors has quadrupled compared to the previous films. For the film about 100 meters of artificial intestines were produced, more than 300 liters of artificial blood were used and more than 500 grams of artificial cobwebs were produced.

Frames

The film is available on DVD in a shortened version with an age rating from 16 years (112 minutes running time) and an uncut version (127 minutes running time) [unchecked]. There is also a previously unpublished, extended "Extended Version" with a running time of 141 minutes.
