action

In a medical laboratory, the two scientists Henry and Paul are working on a novel project to investigate the process of dying. They are based on the so-called 6/12 minute theory , which states that the human brain is still active six to twelve minutes after death occurs before actual brain death occurs. This short period of time represents the actual subject of the research activity. The duo uses this phase to collect brain waves for later data analysis . In order to postpone the beginning of brain death indefinitely, i.e. to lengthen the time interval between data collection, Henry and Paul use a previously developed serum. The supposed breakthrough comes a little later. A recently deceased person sends out usable brain waves for minutes after an injection of their substance. The scientists believe they have reached the goal of their dreams. Regardless of this, your lifeless research object awakens to new life. The corpse falls on one of its creators and fatally injures him. The bitten mutates into a zombie . Driven by instinct, he then kills his colleague, who also degenerates into a monster.

Meanwhile, six Gothic and Metal fans in a party mood go to a secluded cemetery to have fun there. There is a bloody encounter with the three undead at the burial site . Since an escape initially seems hopeless, the decimated group faces the attackers. They quickly succeed in stopping the goings-on of the revenants, even though this eases their situation only slightly. The contaminated body fluids of the zombies, which seep away on the extensive cemetery grounds, create a further potential danger within a very short time. Inmates of a recently crashed school bus who were buried here are contaminated. Subsequently, they rise from the graves. The desperate friends fight again for their lives. After exhausting arguments, their ranks are gradually thinning until at the end of the film the bloodthirsty creatures kill all human defenders.
