Timo Rose

Timo Rose (born February 22, 1977 in Rellingen ) is a German director , actor , cameraman , film editor and producer who mainly works in the horror film genre . So far he has directed over 20 films, three in cooperation with director Andreas Schnaas , writes film music and is responsible for the special effects in his films.

Career

In addition to early independent films such as Barricade , Beast and Game Over , he also produced television programs such as Mission M TV . In addition, he is active as a rap by (King & Prinzessa) and hip-hop -producer. He has produced songs with artists such as Cappuccino ( Jazzkantine ), Magdalena Kalley and Tachiles ( Fresh Familee , Jazzkantine).

In 2001, he was editor and co-producer of the film Hunting Creatures of Andreas Pape .

Rose has been making films in English since Lord of the Undead . He worked with Judith O'Dea from George A. Romero's Night of the living Dead , Bela B from the band Die Ärzte and director Peter Thorwarth . Rose's film Game Over (2009) won numerous international film awards. Rose has won several film awards, including the Golden Glibb and the Fright Nights Award.

In 2017 he worked with 18 other directors on the international episode film Virus of the Dead , which was shown in the USA in November 2018. His horror film Between Heaven and Hell , for which Brent David Schroeder wrote the script, is in preparation .
