Andreas Pape (born May 13, 1980 in Arolsen , Hessen ) is a German actor , voice actor , cameraman and former water skier at the cable car .

Athletic career

He began his sporting career at the age of 8 at the Twistesee water ski club . In 1991, at the age of 11, Andreas Pape was already the German C junior champion in combination when he participated in national championships on the water ski cable car . At the age of 14, he was nominated for the German national team, which he was a member of until 2008. In 2000, at the age of 20, he was one of the youngest water skiers ever to win the European championship in the combination in the open class and was voted “Water Skier of the Year”. At the 2006 World Cup, Andreas Pape finally became world champion in the combination, the so-called king's ranking - consisting of the individual disciplinesTrick skiing , slalom and jumping hills. He was voted "Cable Skier of the Year 2006" by the International World Association for Water Skiing and Wakeboarding (IWWF). Another highlight of his athletic career was winning the European hill jumping championship in 2007 at his home Twistesee. Due to a ruptured cruciate ligament in 2009, he had to take a long break. It was all the more surprising that he won the DM title in combination again in 2012, also at Twistesee. Together with his teammates, he also secured the German team championship for the 25th anniversary of the WSC Twistesee. All in all, from 1988 to 2012 he was able to become 39-time German champion, eight-time European champion, seven-time runner-up world champion and one time world champion. The IWWF led Andreas Pape for six years as the world number one in the water ski combination (2001 to 2004 and 2006 to 2007).

Life

Andreas Pape has been an actor and voice actor since 1999 and has worked on German television and cinema films. He also appeared in a variety of German underground and independent films.
