Patricio Nehuén Pérez (born June 24, 2000 in Hurlingham , Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

In the club

Pérez began playing soccer at La Quinta de Los Pibes and Unión de Tesei before joining the Argentinos Juniors in 2007 . At the end of November 2017, he sat on the bench for the first time in a game of the professional team in the Primera División , but without being substituted on. In May 2018 he made his debut in the Copa Argentina in the professional team, which was his only appearance in the 2017/18 season. In July 2018, Atlético Madrid acquired the transfer rights to Pérez, who, however, remained on loan with Argentinos Juniors until the end of the year. In the first half of the 2018/19 season he made three appearances in the Primera División.

After the U20 South American Championship 2019 , which took place in Chile from January 17 to February 10, Pérez moved to the Spanish Primera División at Atlético Madrid , where he signed a contract in July 2018 with a term until June 30, 2024 would have. By the end of the 2018/19 season , Pérez had two matchday nominations in the league, but without being substituted on by Diego Simeone .

For the 2019/20 season, Pérez switched to the Portuguese first division promoted FC Famalicão for a year on loan .

In the national team

In 2017, Pérez took part with the Argentine U17 national team at the U17 South American Championship in Chile , where he played four times. At the beginning of 2019 he took part with the U20 national team in the U20 South American Championship 2019 in Chile, where he was used eight times and finished second with his team.
