Neil Coles (born September 26, 1934 ) is an English professional golfer . He is the only golfer who has won professional tournaments in six different decades , beginning in the 1950s and extending into the 21st century.

By 1982 Coles had 31 tournament victories, seven of them on the 1972 newly founded European Tour . He made eight appearances for the UK & Ireland team in the Ryder Cup and twice for England in the World Cup .

From 1992 he played on the newly introduced European Seniors Tour and won there nine more times, most recently in 2002 at the age of almost 68. In the 2006 season he was still at the start at six events.

In 2000, Neil Coles was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame .

He has long been the chairman of the PGA European Tour ’s board of directors and, with his company, Neil Coles & Associates, is an internationally recognized golf course architect .

Coles has been married to Ann since 1954 and has two sons. He lives in Walton-on-Thames, England .
