Neilreichia (Journal for Plant Systematics and Floristics Austria) is an Austrian scientific journal for botany that has been published annually since 2001 as the successor to the Florae Austriacae Novitates (1994-2000). The publisher is the Association for Research into Austria's Flora , which distributes it to its members and subscribers.

The journal is named after the important Austrian botanist August Neilreich , the author of works that are fundamental to Austria's floristry, such as "Flora von Wien" (1846) and "Flora von Nieder-Oesterreich" (1857–1858). The journal publishes original scientific papers in German or English on the subjects of taxonomy , chorology and floristry of wild vascular plants in Austria and its immediate neighbors. In addition, related topics such as vegetation ecology , ecomorphology , nature conservation research , karyology , phylogenetics , population genetics , population biology , ethnobotany and the history of botany in Austria are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. After a period of one year, the content of the Neilreichia volumes will be made freely accessible online on the association's website as well as via ZOBODAT and Zenodo .
