The Nejanilini Lake is a lake in the north of the Canadian province of Manitoba , about 230 km west-northwest of Churchill .
Nejanilini Lake is located in a tundra landscape in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 265 m . It has a length of 42 km and a width of 15 km. The lake is traversed by the Wolverine River from north to south and is located in the catchment area of the Seal River .
The remote lake is a destination for fishing tourists. Nejanilini Airport and a lodge are located at the outflow of the Wolverine River into the neighboring Little Duck Lake on the southeast shore of Nejanilini Lake . Pike , American char and arctic grayling are caught in the lake and in the adjacent waters .
