Neljä Ruusua ( Four Roses ) is a Finnish rock band that was formed in 1982 in the city of Joensuu in North Karelia .

Career

The group consists of guitarist and singer Ilkka Alanko , guitarist Petteri "Kode" Koistinen, bassist and singer Jari "Lade" Laakkonen and drummer Kari "Kämy" Kämäräinen. Her style was influenced by punk in her early years , but gradually switched to conventional Finnish rock and pop music . The band's most popular albums are Haloo (1992, Hallo ) and Pop-uskonto (1993, Popreligion ), which made the band very famous.

The band has recorded twelve albums including two English albums, Mood (1996) and Not for Sale (1998).
