Nemo is a French progressive rock band.

The band, which was founded in the Haute-Loire department in 1999 , plays varied progressive rock with predominantly French lyrics and an occasional high proportion of hard rock . Her records are often well composed concept albums (the two CDs Si Partie I and Si Partie II are even a concept album split between two releases). In 2007 Nemo appeared in the opening act for the Flower Kings .

The defining head of the group is the singer and guitarist Jean-Pierre Louveton , who has released five solo albums under the abbreviation JP Louveton or JPL . Louveton's side project Wolfspring, which is more in the area of heavy metal , has so far released two CDs. Louveton has also set up its own distributor called Quadrifonic , which, in addition to its own, Wolfspring and Nemo productions, also represents other artists (including Lazuli ).
