The Neptune Nunatakkers are a small group of Nunatakkers in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges they loom between the Chester Mountains and the Fosdick Mountains .
Scientists United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and mapped it. The United States Geological Survey mapped them again based on their own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after the geologist Gary D. Neptune, who was involved in the surveying of Marie-Byrd -Lands was involved between 1967 and 1968.
