Neptunes Bellows (English for Neptune's bellows ) is a strait in the southeast of Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It represents the approach to Port Foster .
The name of this sea route has been common among US seal hunters since at least 1822. It is named after the strong wind gusts in the strait.
