Neslihan Demir (born December 9, 1983 in Eskişehir ) is a Turkish volleyball player .
Career
Neslihan Demir played from 1998 to 2002 in Istanbul for Yeşilyurt Spor Kulübü. She then moved to the top club Vakıfbank Güneş Sigorta İstanbul , with whom she was twice Turkish champion and in 2004 she won the European Top Teams Cup . In 2006 she went to the Spanish top club CV Tenerife and in 2007 she finished third in the Champions League . In 2008 the attacker returned to Vakıfbank Güneş Sigorta İstanbul and in 2010 moved to local rivals Eczacıbaşı Istanbul . Here she won the Turkish Cup in 2011 and 2012 and won the Turkish Championship in 2012. In 2015 she won the Champions League and the Club World Cup . In 2016 she was able to successfully defend the club world title. Demir played for Galatasaray Istanbul in the 2017/18 season .
Neslihan Demir made his debut for the Turkish national team in 1999 . She took part in several world and European championships and was named "Best Scorer" several times. She was the flag bearer for Turkey at the 2012 Olympic Games in London .
Private
Neslihan Demir was married to swimmer Orkun Darnel from 2006 to 2013 and has one daughter. She has been married to the actor Kâmil Güler since 2014.
