The netball world championship ( English INF Netball World Cup ) is a world championship in netball that takes place every four years . It is organized by the International Netball Federation (INF) and has been taking place since 1963. The record winner is the Australian national netball team with eleven successes . Since 2015, the world championship has been called the World Cup , previously World Championships . Until 1990, the tournament was played in a round- robin system, so that there could be more than one world champion in the event of a tie.
