The New Apostolic Church is a church building in Hohenhaslach in the Ludwigsburg district in Baden-Württemberg . The church was built in 2003 to replace a church building from 1976/79 that had become too small and demolished. The organ of the church is characterized by several technical features.

history

The origins of the New Apostolic Congregation in Hohenhaslach go back to the beginning of the 20th century. On January 1, 1925, the parish previously looked after from Sachsenheim , with only 16 members at the time, was elevated to an independent parish. The services took place in private apartments for several decades before the gradually growing congregation was able to build its own church building from its own resources in 1976, which was inaugurated on October 20, 1976. The building at Kirchbergstrasse 11 was initially flat-roofed and was given a slate pitched roof in 1979 . The building was surrounded by a larger plot of land for future expansion. In 2000 the community had around 80 members. In 2003 the old church had become too small and was torn down, whereupon a modern new building was built at Aischbachstraße 14. The construction costs amounted to around 500,000 euros; the client was the New Apostolic Church in Southwest Germany . As a special feature, the church has a soundproof mother-and-child room separated from the nave, as well as a largely mechanical church organ.

organ

The church has an organ with 212 pipes and four registers divided into bass and treble . A special feature of the modern organ is the purely mechanical high positive organ , only the fan and lighting are supplied electrically. The organ pipes were made from tin alloys, the registers from fir and plum wood.
