New parish church Feldkirch-Nofels
The Roman Catholic parish church Feldkirch-Nofels is in the district Nofels the municipality of Feldkirch in District Feldkirch in Vorarlberg . It is the feast of the Visitation consecrated and belongs to the deanery Feldkirch in the diocese of Feldkirch . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).
Location description
The parish church is to the west of the old parish church . A cemetery adjoins the church to the south.
history
The church was built between 1959 and 1960 according to plans by Adolf Wouk and consecrated in 1960.
architecture
- Church exterior
The church is a west-facing hall building with a retracted choir. There is a gable roof over it . Nave and facade are by Pfeilerlisenen divided. The single-storey sacristy is attached to the church to the south .
- Church interior
Inside the church consists of a hall with a retracted choir, which is currently closed. The church interior is divided by concrete beams on the wall and ceiling. The organ stands on the protruding gallery. The glass paintings on the windows are abstract compositions and come from the Tyrolean glass painting and mosaic institute in Innsbruck from 1960.
Furnishing
A simple wooden cross hangs on the back wall of the altar. On the tabernacle there is a metal relief depicting the “ Annunciation of Mary ”. Above the left side altar is a figure of St. Mary . Above the right side altar is a figure of St. Joseph . The two figures, as well as the rosary stations by Jakob Summer, date from 1960.

The organ comes from Orgelbau Reinisch-Pirchner from 1963.
