The Neuenhauser Siefen is an approx. 450 m long left tributary of the Wupper , which is called Wipper here in the upper reaches. The stream rises 375 m above sea level on the northern flank of the Ellberg, east of the Marienheider district of Reppinghausen . It flows in a northerly direction over an open area down into the valley, crosses under the Hagen – Dieringhausen railway line and takes on an inlet from the right, which feeds from the moat of a commercial enterprise and drains water from the Gervershagener Bach .

At Neuenhaus the Neuenhauser Siefen flows into the Wupper at an altitude of 349 m.
