New Leipzig Football Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The New Leipzig Football Association (NLFV) was a local football association in the Saxon city of Leipzig .

The NLFV was founded on November 25, 1904 . It included the clubs Leipziger SC 1898, FC Eintracht Leipzig , FC Bavaria Leipzig (Sellerhausen district), FC Normannia 1901 Leipzig (Plagwitz district), FC Urania Leipzig, FC Favorit Leipzig, FC Wettin Ost, BSC Teutonia Plagwitz and the Grimmitzer Ballspielvereinigung.

The association only existed for a very short time. Whether it came to a championship has not been recorded, but it seems unlikely due to the short history of the association. In March 1905 , FC Bavaria and two months later FC Normannia were accepted into the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs .
