The Neue Weg is a hiking trail north of the town of Schierke in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt, which belongs to the city of Wernigerode .

It is about 1.5 kilometers long and is located in the southern part of the Brocken massif and begins near the center of Schierke. As an extension of the Ottoweg, it climbs slightly in a north-westerly direction. To the south of the path is the Vaupelsklippe . From the east of the leads Ahrensklint and Glashüttenweg leading parish Stieg one. A little east of the confluence is the Kesselklippe . From the south, after some time, a hiking trail from Schierker Hermann-Löns-Weg joins, and a little further uphill, from the west, a path from Brockenstrasse joins.

The Neue Weg then ends at the meeting of the Edelmannshäuweg and the old bobsled run .
