Neukirchen am Ostrong

Neukirchen am Ostrong is a village in the market town of Pöggstall in the Melk district in Lower Austria .

location

The place in the Waldviertel is located on a hill east of the Ostrong mountain range and southwest of the Pöggstall market.

history

The place was mentioned in a document around 1120. The church is the oldest place of pilgrimage in the Waldviertel.

Building

The two-storey building, mostly on the eaves, along the street, which is bent at right angles to the north of the church, has been largely renewed.
