Place and castle Neunussberg

Neunußberg is a district of the town of Viechtach in the Regen district .

The sights of the church village include Neunussberg Castle and the St. Michael Castle Chapel . It was built by Albrecht the Nussberger after 1350 and has many baroque elements.

After the Nussbergs died out, their successors, who commanded the much smaller Hofmark , built a small castle in the village itself in the course of the 17th century, called "zum Haus", while the fortress fell into disrepair.
