Neusellerhausen was a community east of Leipzig that existed between 1816 and 1892 .

history

At the beginning of the 19th century, a few houses were built on the south-east side of the road between Reudnitz and Sellerhausen, north of the Eastern Rietzschke , which led from Leipzig to Dresden . In 1816 they were designated as the independent community of Neusellerhausen. Other neighboring towns were Volkmarsdorf and Anger . The area of the parish was 1.3 hectares and the population in 1834 was 547.

The Volksmarsdorfer street houses on the opposite side of the street were directly subordinate to the royal district office until 1875 and were therefore also called royal street houses. In 1875 they became their own community and in 1882 they were incorporated into Neusellerhausen.

Neusellerhausen belonged to the royal Saxon district office of Leipzig until 1856 , from 1856 to the court office Leipzig I and from 1875 to the administrative authority of Leipzig . In 1892 Neusellerhausen was finally incorporated into Leipzig, with which it had already grown together in terms of urban planning.

Since the municipal reorganization of Leipzig in 1992, the area is one of Neuschönefeld the district Volkmarsdorf in the district East.
