Neustraße 1 (Lutherstadt Wittenberg)
Neustraße 1 is a listed residential building in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located in the old town of Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the west side of Neustraße in a corner at the confluence of Neustraße with Mittelstraße running south. To the north is the also listed building Neustraße 2 .
The historicizing two-storey building was built in 1916 in the Heimat style based on plans by Paul Friedrich . It forms a creative ensemble with Haus Neustraße 2, which was also designed by Friedrich. The entrance to the house, which faces east towards Neustraße, is designed as a seating niche portal in the Renaissance style. In the reveal of the portal there is a nationalistic inscription typical of the construction period in the First World War .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 35984 .
