Nevada Stoody Hayes
Nevada Stoody Hayes (born October 21, 1885 in Sandyville , Ohio , † June 11, 1941 in Tampa , Florida ) was the wife of Alfons Heinrich , Duke of Porto . After the death of Manuel II , the last king of Portugal and nephew of Alfons Heinrich, she claimed the legacy of the Portuguese royal family, since Manuel II died childless. This brought them into conflict with the Portuguese government.
