The New Mexico State Route 1 ( NM 1 for short ) is a state route in the US state of New Mexico that runs in a north-south direction.

The State Route begins on US Highway 85 near Socorro and ends after 98 kilometers on Interstate 25 at Mitchell Point north of Truth or Consequences .

From Socorro , NM 1 runs parallel to Interstate 25 to the south. It passes Socorro Municipal Airport and small towns like Luis Lopez or San Antonio in the west . In San Antonio, the State Route meets US Highway 380 and, near Exit 115, Interstate 25 meets State Route 107 . After 98.6 kilometers, NM 1 ends at Exit 92 of I-25 at Michell Point.
