The New Water is a watercourse in Cumbria , England .
The New Water arises from a series of unnamed small tributaries west of the Three Pikes . The stream initially flows in a westerly direction until it changes its direction to the north east of the Middle Top , in which it flows until it forms the River Gelt when it meets the Old Water west of the Tarnmonath Fell .
