The Newman Nunatakkers are a group of Nunatakkers in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They loom halfway between the Napier Mountains, some 40 km apart, in the east and the Aker Peaks in the west.
Norwegian cartographers roughly mapped it using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1960 were used for a new mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the Nunatakker after Alan J. Newman, chief diesel generator mechanic at Mawson Station in 1961.
