Quote
" Marpa had another disciple named Ngog Chöku-dorje (rNgogChos-sku rdo-rje) who asked for Chakrasamvara initiation. He lived about a day's ride away. When the tower was completed, Marpas gave birth to Dagmema (tib. bDag-med-ma), a son named Darma-dode (tib. Dar-ma mdo-sde) Marpa sent one to celebrate the birth of his son and to celebrate the nine-story tower that Milarepa had completed Message to Ngog Choku-dorje to inform him that he intends to give a Chakrasamvara initiation and that he should come.
When Ngog Choku-dorje came, he offered everything he had to Marpa as an offering to Marpa. But among his possessions was a goat with a broken leg that could not walk. He had left this behind. Marpa said, “What is it? You didn't bring the other goat with you? I went through such terrible trouble as to go to India three times to receive these teachings and that is a very valuable initiation. You have to go back and get the goat. " "
