The Ngozi , also written Ngosi , is an extinct volcano in the Poroto Mountains in the southern highlands of Tanzania . Today only an imposing crater remains of it, which is a popular hiking destination from the city of Mbeya . In the caldera there is a 1.5 by 2.5 kilometer crater lake.
