Nguyễn Thị Thật (born March 6, 1993 in Long Xuyên ) is a Vietnamese cyclist.

Athletic career

Nguyễn Thị Thật has been internationally active in road cycling since 2011. In her first year she started at the Junior World Championships in road racing and finished 56th. In 2012 she was eighth of the Tour of Thailand . The following year she won bronze at the Southeast Asian Games and finished fifth in the road race of the Asian championships . At the 2014 Asian Games , she finished second in the road race. In 2015 she won a stage of the Tour of Thailand and was third overall. In the same year she won two medals at the Southeast Asian Games, gold in the road race and silver in the criterion . In 2017, Nguyễn won two stages of the Tour of Thailand and improved her place in the overall ranking to two in the previous year, and she again won the gold medal in the road race at the Southeast Asian Games .

In February 2018 Nguyễn became the first Vietnamese woman to become Asian road race champion. Shortly after the championships, she traveled to Switzerland to take part in a three-month course at the Center Mondial du Cyclisme of the UCI World Cycling Federation . In May 2018 she won the high-class Belgian race Dwars door de Westhoek . In February 2019, she took third place in the first one-day race of the Vuelta a la Comunitat Valenciana Feminas .
