Niban-higasi Iwa (from Japanese 二 番 東 岩 'Eastern Number Two Rocks' ) is a headland on the Crown Prince Olav Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located on the north side of Niban Rock .
Japanese scientists mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs taken between 1957 and 1962. They named it in 1981 based on the naming of the Niban Rock.
