Nicholas Russell, 6th Earl Russell
Nicholas Lyulph Russell, 6th Earl Russell , (born September 12, 1968 in Wimbledon , † August 17, 2014 ) was a British peer and politician. From 1987 to 2004 he held the courtesy title of Viscount Amberley .
He was the eldest son of Conrad Russell, 5th Earl Russell and Elizabeth Sanders. When his father died on October 13, 2004, he inherited his title of Earl Russell .
He graduated from Leicester University . Like his grandfather, Bertrand Russell , he was an active member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament since he was a teenager. Just like his father and grandfather, he was a member of the Labor Party , where he could be found in the left wing .
Most recently, Russell was Treasurer of the Royal National Institute of the Blind . He also led training seminars at Scotland Yard .
The title of Earl Russell was inherited by his brother John .
