Nicholas Bernhard West (born October 9, 1991 in Yorba Linda ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

West began his career at El Dorado High School in Placentia . He then studied at UC Irvine in 2010 and 2011 . In 2012 he moved to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa . After completing his studies, the middle blocker first went to Austria and played for Union Volleyball Waldviertel . In the 2017/18 season he was active for the Swedish club Södertelge VBK. In 2018 West was signed by the German Bundesliga club TSV Herrsching .
