The Nicholson Peak is a 632 m high and rocky mountains in the southeast of Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Wright Peninsula, it rises southeast of Parker Peak in the northeast part of the head end of the Sheldon Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2011. It is named after Gerard Nicholson, head of the aircraft unit of the British Antarctic Survey from 1976 to 2011.
