Nick Stone
Nick Stone (born October 31, 1966 in Cambridge ) is a British writer .
Life
Nick Stone was born in Cambridge in 1966 to the Scottish historian Norman Stone and a mother who came from the noble Haitian Aubry family. Nick Stone was born in the UK and spent the first four years of his life on the Caribbean island of Haiti. In 1971 he returned to England.
As a teenager, Stone boxed in the National Amateur League. In his professional career, he first followed his father and studied history, but later worked as a headhunter in various companies. Stone wrote several thrillers around the character of the ex-police officer and current private detective Max Mingus.
He is related to the German-Haitian rapper Torch .
