Nicky van Leuveren (born May 20, 1990 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch athlete who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Career

In 2008, van Leuveren was part of the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay for the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz , which was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In June 2016 van Leuveren qualified with a new personal best for the European Athletics Championships in her home town of Amsterdam . There she surprisingly reached the final with a new personal best of 52.02 s. With the season she reached seventh place in the final. With the Dutch 4 x 400 meter relay, she was able to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where it was eliminated in the preliminary round, but set a new Dutch record.
