Nico B. Rottke

Nico B. Rottke (born November 4, 1975 in Warstein ) is a German entrepreneur and real estate scientist.

Life

Rottke studied business administration at the European Business School (EBS) , Oestrich-Winkel, and Georgia State University , Atlanta, USA, and graduated with a degree in business administration and a Master of Science in real estate. From 2001 to 2004 he did his doctorate on "Investments with Real Estate Private Equity" at EBS. rer. pole. In the year of his graduation he was appointed junior professor for real estate banking. Rottke founded the EBS Real Estate Management Institute in Wiesbaden in 2006 and was its director until the end of 2014. In March 2009 Rottke completed his habilitation on “Essays in Real Estate Investment & Finance”. From August 2009 to January 2015 he held the Aareal Endowed Chair of Real Estate Investment and Finance and from June 2010 to December 2013 Adjunct Professor in Real Estate Finance at the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate at the University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando, USA.

In 2015 he moved from EBS Universität to EY Real Estate, where he established the "Capital Debt Advisory" division for the real estate sector until autumn 2017. In 2017, Rottke founded aamundo Holding AG together with Michael Schleich, of which he has been spokesman for the board since October 2017.

Rottke lives near Wiesbaden , is married and has five children.

Honorary positions

Rottke works for the Urban Land Institute Germany, from 2005 to 2014 on the Executive Committee, since 2014 as a member of the Advisory Board. He works as a scientific advisory board for the ZIA Central Real Estate Committee Germany, a subsidiary of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). From 2012 to 2016 he also headed the IDDIW Institute of the German Real Estate Industry in Frankfurt / M. as honorary president.
