Nico Klotz (born September 20, 1986 in Heilbronn ) is a German soccer player who was most recently under contract with MSV Duisburg . Nico Klotz is currently playing for the second representative of TuS Mündelheim in the district league B.

Career

Klotz played for VfL Brackenheim in his youth . In the summer of 2007, the then 20-year-old moved to the second team at VfB Stuttgart . Klotz made his professional debut on July 26, 2008 on the first day of the 2008/09 season for VfB II in the 3rd professional league against Kickers Offenbach .

On July 6, 2009, Klotz moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue . There he scored a total of four goals in 26 games in the third division season 2009/10 and rose with the club as second in the table behind VfL Osnabrück in the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the 2010/11 season , Klotz switched to league rivals SC Paderborn 07 . After he was no longer considered in the professional squad in his second year at SCP, Klotz moved back to the 3rd division for SV Sandhausen during the winter break of 2011/12 . There he was regularly used as a reinforcement on the flanks in midfield and completed the third division championship in 2012 with the club and thus his second promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

On July 4, 2014, the MSV Duisburg announced the commitment of Nico Klotz. He signed a contract with the third division until 2015 plus an option. On May 16, 2015 he celebrated his third promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with MSV.
