Nico Touches the Walls (spelling: NICO touches the Wall ) is a Japanese rock band that is under contract with the Amuse agency . Their music is used in the soundtracks for Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist .

Band history

NICO Touches the Wall was founded in 2004 by Tatsuya Mitsumura, Daisuke Furumura, Shingo Sakakura and Shotaro Tsushima. In the same year the band won the Lotte Prize at the Yamaha Teen Music Festival. The band received a recording contract with Senha & Co. After several appearances, the mini album Walls Is Beginning was released in February 2006 . The mini album runova × handover followed on October 18, 2006 and the mini album How Are You? .

The rise came relatively quickly for the band. In 2007, the band was signed by Ki / oon Records ( Sony Music ) and in February 2008 released their first major label single Yoru no hate and its successor The Bungy . The band also appeared in a commercial for Pocky . Several other singles followed, as well as the first album Who Are You? . In 2008 Broken Youth appeared in the credits of the anime series Naruto Shippūden and was then released as a single.

In 2009 they participated in the soundtrack for the anime Fullmetal Alchemist , followed by the second album Aurora and the first live DVD NICO Touches the Walls LIVE2009 All, Always, Walls vol . 3 ～ Turkeyism . In 2010 a collection of her music videos followed under the title NICO Touches the Walls Library Vol.1 . In 2011, the song Matryoshka was selected as the theme song of the anime series C on Fuji TV .

The third album Passenger was released on April 4, 2011. In the same year, the successor Humania was released . After another live DVD, a single from the soundtrack to the anime series Naruto Shippūden and the fifth and to date last album Shout to the Walls! .
