Nicolás Uriarte (born March 21, 1990 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine volleyball player .

Career

Uriarte was South American champion in 2008 with the Argentine juniors. In the 2008/09 season he played in the domestic league for Mendoza Volei. He then went to the second Italian division to Zinella Bologna . In 2010 the player was signed by the first division club M. Roma Volley . A year later he returned to his homeland, where he first played with Boca Río Uruguay Seguros and a year later with Buenos Aires Unidos. With the Argentine national team he reached the quarter-finals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London . In 2013 Uriarte moved to Skra Bełchatów , with whom he became Polish champion in 2014 and Polish cup winner in 2016. With the national team, he won the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada in 2015 . Uriarte has been playing for Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei in Brazil since 2017.
